Hi Everyone,
It's Golden Week now. This period typically lasts a whole week, spanning from the end of April to the first week of May.
Japan is said to have 16 national holidays per year, which is quite a lot compared to many other countries.
Despite the common perception that Japanese people work too much, the country actually boasts a significant number of holidays.
The truth is, Japanese workers don't always take all of their paid vacation days, so they're forced to take time off LOL
Anyway, about Golden Week.
During this time, many Japanese people travel overseas, resulting in numerous flights departing from Japan to destinations in Asia, the USA, and Europe.
Because airplane companies need to fill their return flights to Japan, plane tickets can often be cheaper for those traveling to Japan during this period.
While popular tourist spots within Japan will be crowded, you might consider flying to Japan during Golden Week to take advantage of potentially cheaper flights.
